“Remember that there are many people who think they want to be matadors, only to find themselves in the ring with two thousand pounds of bull bearing down on them, and then discover that what they really wanted was to wear tight pants and hear the crowd roar.”
As you set critical life goals for yourself, take the time to analyze what it is you truly desire and what drives your happiness. Too often we are influenced by what others want for us and by images in popular media. The outward appearances of a particular career, a place to live, or the person to spend your life with always hides the reality. Dig deep into your own character and values and then be sure you take the time to dig beneath the surface of that decision and ensure there is a match before you commit.
