MY BACKGROUND
I am an internationally experienced executive retail professional with a diverse career in luxury travel retail, department stores, and specialty food/gifts including prior roles at DFS Group Limited, Harry & David, Gottschalk’s, and Macy’s. After a successful decade at DFS Group Ltd., the world’s leading luxury travel retailer, I launched my consultancy, Osorio Group LLC in 2018. I bring my experience and capabilities to individuals, teams and organizations in their quest to realize personal and business growth, deliver top and bottom-line results, and create the foundation and vision for future competitiveness and success. I can be retained for individual and team coaching, project management, retail consulting, speaking engagements and interim executive roles.
WHY JAM WITH MIKE
The name “JAM with Mike!” is short for Just a Moment with Mike! and began in 2008 as a free twice-weekly email distribution of short positive messages, quotes and stories now sent to over 3,000 “JAMmers” globally. The purpose of these JAMs has always been to nourish the reader with positive information, to motivate and inspire. With over 1,000 sent to-date, I continue to write JAMs and use the philosophy behind them to guide my consultancy and my approach to helping individuals and organizations thrive.

“Dare to be Contagious!”™ is my personal philosophy that drives my professional and personal life. The idea is to push ourselves to consistently learn new ways to develop ourselves and our businesses, and then to share that knowledge whenever possible with others who can benefit from our learning. It is in that spirit that I have launched my JAM with Mike! consultancy and I look forward to bringing my skills, experience and outlook to you and your organization.
