“We tend to forget that happiness doesn’t come as a result of getting something we don’t have, but rather of recognizing and appreciating what we do have.”

~Frederick Koenig

This truth has been said in many ways, but the essence remains the same:  The truly happy among us are those with the courage and the wisdom to pause and be grateful for what they have vs. yearning for what they do not have.  It does not mean they do not strive for achievements and goals.  It is that they recognize the gifts they already have today which they will use to take action to get to what they are after.  This provides not only happiness, but peace, confidence, and courage.

Take a bit of time each day to reflect on what you do have and then take action to make a difference!
