“The shoe that fits one person pinches another; there is no recipe for living that suits all cases.”

While looking at other people’s success formulas is instructive and can lead to interesting insights for our own pursuit of success, joy, and peace, a bit of caution is suggested.  No one else is you.  Each of us are unique in terms of our own combination of upbringing, education, experiences, and natural talents.  Copying someone else’s success strategy will likely work in one part of our life, but almost never in totality.  The lesson?  Be very selective in modeling yourself after someone else.  Determine what specific area of life you want to improve in and look for people who have excelled there.  You may end up with many ideas from many different people.  And in the end, the only “right” path is the one that is unique to you.
