“Hope is the power of being cheerful in circumstances we know to be desperate.”

~G. K. Chesterton

In difficult situations, even ones which might simply be minor annoyances, we need leaders who articulate hope and a vision of a bright future when the current situation is past.  A leader who can maintain their cheerful disposition even when things are going poorly, based on a realistic view of a better tomorrow, will be followed to the ends of the earth.  Cheerfulness breeds cheerfulness.  Cheerful people have the hope, and therefore the desire, to move beyond problems to solutions.  Be cheerful no matter what.  Your team needs it from you!
