“Vision is not enough, it must be combined with venture. It is not enough to stare up the steps, we must step up the stairs.”
~Vaclav Havel
This poetic quote hits home with my favorite theme: intentional action to make things happen. In order for you to make a meaningful move to achieving your most critical personal and professional goals, you must have two things: A clear vision of what achievement will look like – as specific as possible, and the courage and persistence to make progress through daily intentional actions.
Are you clear on what you want to attain? Take some time to make sure you are clear and that your goals are aligned with your true vision of who and what you want to be.
Are you willing to fight through obstacles even of your own making? If not, you may have the wrong goals. If they are right, you will find the courage, passion and persistence to take the necessary actions to succeed.
