“Besides the noble art of getting things done, there is a nobler art of leaving things undone. The wisdom of life consists in the elimination of nonessentials.”

 ~Lin Yutang

The ability to say “no” to activities, requests, and people that do not align with your purpose is a critical skill to develop.  And yet it is one of the least developed skills for most people.  Time management is built less upon efficiency than upon the ability to keep things off your to-do list in the first place.  Learn to say no – kindly and respectfully, but firmly and with conviction, knowing you are safeguarding your time and efforts for those things that truly matter.
