“Multi-tasking arises out of distraction itself.”

~Marilyn vos Savant

We often take great pride in our ability to multi-task and admire it in others.  However, it has been clearly shown that our habitual multi-tasking is actually creating mediocre results and fewer breakthroughs.  While multi-tasking, it is virtually impossible to apply the intense focus necessary for excellence.  It is better to focus on a few important activities, one at a time, and with sufficient energy and passion to deliver excellence.  In this way you will be unique in accomplishment and satisfaction.
