As I watched in stunned horror as the unspeakable acts were carried out in Mumbai, I knew that the great people of Mumbai will persevere. I know many people in Mumbai and I can tell you they are incredible, resilient people who welcome you to their great city with pride and hospitality. Mumbaikars, we stand with you in this time of grief. For all of us, remember that the defeat of terrorism will come by the many small acts by each one of us to accept all of the world’s people regardless of religion, race or creed. Let’s all stand together for the people of Mumbai and move forward with perseverance.
