“Too often, we underestimate the power of a touch, a smile, a kind word, a listening ear, an honest compliment, or the smallest act of caring, all of which have the potential to turn a life around.”

~Leo Buscaglia

On Valentine’s Day it is a good time to reflect on how we can better demonstrate our love.  Yes, for our spouse or partner, but also for other family members, friends, and others we care about.  Grand displays of affection have their place, and many people appreciate these.  However, the actions that create long term, deeply loving and passionate relationships are the little things that are appreciated by the people we love.

While today is a good day to reflect on this, I urge you to actively love through these small acts as often as possible – daily if you can.  If it has not been your habit to do this, start today with a couple small acts of love and commit to building such things into your daily routines.  Soon it will be your habit to actively love and I guarantee it will make all the difference in ensuring fulfilling relationships and will come back to you in kind.  Love now, love every day!
