“Many years ago I resolved never to bother with New Year’s resolutions, and I’ve stuck with it ever since.”
~Dave Beard
If you’ve been with me for long, you know I am not a big believer in New Year’s resolutions. Instead I believe in recalibrating our goals on a regular basis to ensure our actions are leading us to our desired destinations. As you toast the end of 2010 and the beginning of 2011, take time to reflect on the past year and the efforts you have made, the actions you have taken. Were they aligned with your purpose and goals? Don’t waste time berating yourself for missed opportunities or wasted efforts. Be thankful for what you have learned and resolve, if you must resolve anything, to be more intentional on taking actions that align with your desired destination.
Happy New Year’s! All the best for you and yours in 2011!
