“Without reflection, we go blindly on our way, creating more unintended consequences, and failing to achieve anything useful.”

~Margaret J. Wheatley

time to reflect

Tuesday’s JAM was focused on reflecting on your business/work life.  Today, I urge you to put the same effort in reflecting on your personal life – your relationships, your health, and your joy.  It is critical that we balance our efforts to ensure both our work and our home lives are moving forward in an intentional way.  Give yourself credit for even the small positive steps you took this year to be better to yourself, your family and your friends.  Recognize where you fell short and take responsibility to learn from your mistakes and think of the ways you might improve going forward.  Most importantly, think of all those who provided you even the smallest of help along your path and take the time to thank them.  Gratitude is one of the most powerful tools at your disposal to move your life forward in a positive way.  Use it liberally!
