Tomorrow would have been my Mom’s 74th birthday. I am very fortunate that my mom was more than my mother. She was also my friend. We shared a lot of characteristics: curiosity, empathy, reading & learning, and most of all goofiness. She was always there for me and I miss her a great deal. I’ll be raising a toast to my mom tomorrow. If your mom is still around, give her a call. If not, I hope your memories are as fond as mine.
