We all fail. In little ways and in big ways. The question is never, “will I fail?” Of course I will. The question is “what will I do when I fail?” Reflection is always the important first step. Did I fail because I haven’t yet found the way through an obstacle, and therefore must keep trying different ways? Or because I need to move in a different direction altogether? The reflection will help determine the next action to take.
What failure is not, is a sign to give up on a worthy goal. It may, however, be a sign to rethink whether your goal is indeed worthy. If it is, don’t let anything stop you from taking actions, even when most fail.
