“Pressure is a word that is misused in our vocabulary. When you start thinking of pressure, it’s because you’ve started to think of failure.”
~Tommy Lasorda
You may be feeling a lot of pressure due to the current economic situation. It may be affecting your job, your company’s performance, probably your stock portfolio if you invest in the market, and certainly your 401k. During times such as these it is critical to keep a level head and not allow pressure to intrude and push you toward emotional decisions. Keep your head, seek advice from level-headed sources and make prudent, measured decisions. Don’t think of failure – think of those actions that can lead to reasonable growth and a return to prosperity. This is not a time to panic and run. It is a time to invest in quality people, quality relationships, quality companies, quality products and services. The good days are just ahead…
And when things seem bleak, remember this quote from Zig Zigler:
“Every day above ground is a good day!”
