“In times of change, learners inherit the earth; while the learned find themselves beautifully equipped to deal with a world that no longer exists.”
~Eric Hoffer
Today’s quote was shared at a recent Learning & Development conference I attended. It speaks to the criticality of continuous learning, particularly in today’s rapidly changing environment. While it is admirable to be “educated” via university degrees and such, it is imperative to continue learning to stay current, remain open to new ideas, and strengthen agility.
You can and should learn through books, internet and other reading and multi-media platforms. But don’t forget that the most effective learning comes via experiencing all aspects of life’s experiences – at work, at home, one event, one project, one person at a time.
How do you continue to learn?
