“Gratitude unlocks the fullness of life. It turns what we have into enough, and more. It turns denial into acceptance, chaos to order, confusion to clarity. It can turn a meal into a feast, a house into a home, a stranger into a friend. Gratitude makes sense of our past, brings peace for today, and creates a vision for tomorrow.”
~ Melody Beattie
I have learned that there is no more powerful thing than gratitude. Taking a moment every day to think about the wonders of my life gets me through any rough patch, enhances good experiences, and makes a great result more likely.
Side benefits: There is nothing more attractive than a grateful person, and it has been shown that grateful people are healthier and more likely to describe themselves as “happy.”
Your assignment: Spend a few minutes listing the things you are grateful for on a piece of paper. Read it out loud. I guarantee you will feel a rush of good feelings. Keep the note and read it aloud every day and watch your spirit soar and your successes multiply!
