“The real voyage of discovery consists not in seeking new landscapes, but in having new eyes.”

~Marcel Proust

Each day we wake up and embark on a pattern that takes us through familiar routines and pathways.  It is likely we do not notice much of anything preoccupied by our thoughts on our way to work, through our days and on the return trip home, finally settling into bed in the same way.  Today, break the routine a bit for the intentional purpose of noticing the things and people around you with fresh eyes.  You’ll be amazed at the simple joys and beauty surrounding you that you have taken for granted in your day to day existence.  Give it a try!
