“I know that the whole point—the only point—is to find the things that matter, and hold on to them, and fight for them, and refuse to let them go.”

We are halfway through the last month of 2015 and will be soon turning the page into a new year.  Traditionally, this is a time to pause and reflect on our lives, determine our satisfaction with our progress, and plan on how to create more positive impact in the New Year.  I sincerely hope you are going through this annual process and it will be even more effective if you do so more regularly.

As you reflect, it is likely that one or more areas of your life are not going the way you intended or desire.  The culprit may be that these areas are not truly important to you – and I mean truly important.  They may seem important but perhaps they are others’ priorities vs. your own.  Unless what you are aiming for is what really matters to you, it is unlikely that you will sustain the kind of energy and perseverance necessary to achieve success. Think this through fully and ensure as you reset for the New Year that your actions are directed to people, experiences and things that matter, truly matter to you.
