“Stay afraid but do it anyway. What’s important is the action. You don’t have to wait to be confident. Just do it and eventually the confidence will follow.”
Up to this point in your life, all the growth you have made as a person, a professional, or became proficient at a particular skill, was due to taking action despite fears and insecurities. If you can remember this, as new fears creep in, you can reflect on all you have done and use that to steel your spine to act despite your fears. Courage is not the lack of fear; courage is acting despite the fear.
Fear is healthy. Inaction is not.
