“People are lonely because they build walls instead of bridges.”

~Joseph F. Newton

Loneliness stems from fear:  fear which stunts our ability to take the actions that could start and build meaningful relationships.  The antidote to this is hope.  Hope gives us the courage to overcome our fears and act.  If you lack hope, you must act as if you did have hope.  In doing so, the very action you take will provide the subconscious evidence of hope you need to overcome your fears and keep on going.  It may sound like pop psychology but it really works and there is strong scientific evidence to support it.

Get out there and act with the confidence you know you must have to build the bridges to the people you need in your life.  The inner hope will rise with every positive action you take.
