“Gratitude turns what we have into enough, and more. It turns denial into acceptance, chaos into order, confusion into clarity…it makes sense of our past, brings peace for today, and creates a vision for tomorrow.”

Much has been written on the power of living with an attitude of gratitude, being intentionally reflective and thankful for what we have and what we are able to experience, vs. fretting on what we lack or what others have that we do not.
And it bears repeating…  Reflect on your own circumstances and your primary beliefs about them. Where do you dwell on things you lack, or opportunities missed? Realistically look at these areas and challenge yourself on the accuracy of your perception. Even if true, can you let these things go and focus instead on all you do have and all you are able to experience?
Choose gratitude. It is an intentional and often difficult act, that when practiced, truly leads to a more satisfying and joyful life. Modeling a grateful attitude is one of the greatest gifts you can give your family, your organization and your other associations. We all need to experience more gratitude. Let’s start today with ourselves.
