“You either get bitter or you get better. It’s that simple. You either take what has been dealt to you and allow it to make you a better person, or you allow it to tear you down. The choice does not belong to fate, it belongs to you.”

There will always be challenges in life. Some caused by your own choices, some caused by circumstances beyond your control. Good things in life occur similarly. In all cases, our responsibility is to reflect on how we can use what happens in our lives, by us or to us, and become better for it. Those who choose to be grateful and make use of life’s lessons tend to be more successful, more joyful, and more content with living life. Those who choose bitterness tend to suffer the opposite, and merely exist.
Every day is an opportunity to learn to be better. Are you learning to be better or just existing? I suggest you learn.
