We always have a choice of the amount of effort we put into our work, our relationships, our communities and ourselves. While we cannot be excellent in all areas of our lives, we can certainly try. There is no downside to pouring the best of ourselves into anything we choose to do. We can never attain perfection, but the pursuit of perfection and an attitude of “positive dissatisfaction”, will bring us the best outcomes by bringing our best selves to each situation.
Don’t settle. Never be satisfied. Be positively dissatisfied.
