What is your unique talent? Your unique interest? Your unique humor? For all of us, there are characteristics which are similar or even the same as many others. And other characteristics which are ours alone – or at least not shared by many. After all, with 7 billion people on the planet, there are certainly others who share one or more of your traits. But literally no one else is completely you, except you.
I think it is important that we realize that as humans, we are really not so different from one another. This allows us to accept differences in others and value those differences. And it is important to realize that we are special – and uniquely qualified to pursue our dreams, to find happiness, and to contribute in our own way.
