“Keeping score of old scores and scars, getting even and one-upping, always make you less than you are.”
~Malcolm Forbes
I see it with friends, family and co-workers. In politics and other public forums. The endless waste of time and effort people spend on vengeance. While it may provide temporary solace for a perceived wrong, every moment spent in this kind of effort destroys the opportunity to move forward. Instead, as Forbes states, it makes you less than you are and certainly as bad as or worse than the person who you believe wronged you. Instead, practice the art of forgiveness and focus on being a better you.
