“Leadership is not the private reserve of a few charismatic men and women. It is a process ordinary people use when they are bringing forth the best from themselves and others. When the leader in everyone is liberated extraordinary things happen.”

~James Kouzes & Barry Posner

Regardless of your title or position in your organization, or in your community or family unit, you have the potential – and the obligation – to use your innate talents to lead.  In every moment you have the potential to lead, using your unique knowledge and desire to move yourself and those around you forward.

Be the person with ideas vs. complaints.  Be the person to point out the positives vs. negatives.  Be the person to point out when your peer, boss, or subordinate does something good vs. something bad.  Be the person who, through your words and actions, makes things better.  Lead.
