“You can’t let praise or criticisms get to you. It’s a weakness to get caught up in either one.”
~John Wooden
You’re usually not nearly as good or bad as the press you get. As good as praise feels, don’t spend your time seeking it. As bad as criticism feels, don’t spend time dwelling on it or challenging it. If you can look in the mirror and know that you are giving your best effort, the praise or criticism becomes far less important. Just be the best you and put your energy into developing your effectiveness.
