“Remember, if you ever need a helping hand, you’ll find one at the end of your arm … As you grow older you will discover that you have two hands. One for helping yourself, the other for helping others.”

~Audrey Hepburn

Are you using your own skills and capabilities to create your own successes?  If you find yourself complaining about how “they” aren’t supporting you or are trying to keep you down, look in the mirror and begin to see the solution is in you.  Almost without exception, the solutions to the problems you face start with you taking action to change your circumstances.  That can be confronting a person or situation, learning a skill, beginning an exercise regime, eating a healthy meal, forgiving someone, helping someone, or simply smiling to alter your mood.
Focus today on finding ways to help yourself.  This is critical, because the people around you could likely use your help as well.  You are much better equipped and willing to help others if you consistently work on yourself.
