“One of the things that may get in the way of people being lifelong learners is that they’re not in touch with their passion. If you’re passionate about what it is you do, then you’re going to be looking for everything you can to get better at it.”

~Jack Canfield

In an earlier JAM, we talked about learning “like you’re going to live forever”.  The key for you to stick with this is to focus on your passions.  We won’t continue learning about things we’re not passionate about because we simply won’t care.  What drives you, energizes you, gets you out of bed in the morning?  Make sure you know what it is and that you are putting yourself in the position to do more of it.  Then and only then will you have the desire and tenacity to be a lifelong learner.

I hope for you that your work is one of your passions.  If it is not, I challenge you to get yourself into a role you will be passionate about.  Otherwise, why bother?  If it is, congratulations and get on with the learning!
